1. Introduction.
Evolutionists insist that -
Truth can and should be determined independent of God. This of course gives evolutionists
the advantage. However, the Scripture states:
‘The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom’ (Psalm 111:10);
‘The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of knowledge’ (Proverbs 1:7).
‘But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of Elohiym, for they are foolishness
to him; neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned’ (1 Corinthians 2:14).
The problem with the points of view of evolutionists and creationists is the age old one of man
wanting to be the master of his own fate.
On the one hand evolutionists cannot abide the thought of acknowledging that a power greater
than themselves, was responsible for creating the universe and that they could begin to learn
all about it, by humbling themselves and seeking Yahweh-
[Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of Elohiym, and his righteousness; and all these things
shall be added unto you.]
because they would have to humble themselves as little children
Mat 19:14 But Yahshua said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for
of such is the kingdom of heaven.
We have to become as little children in acknowledging we know nothing about why we are
here on earth or how to conduct our lives to sustain the planet and humankind.
Society (including evolutionists) thinks man is essentially good and in the end he will
'live long and prosper.' But our creator says of him
Isaiah 59:8 The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have
made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.
and;
Pro 1:7 The fear of the Yahweh is the beginning of knowledge: fools despise wisdom and instruction.
and of man's attempts to venture out to explore space he says;
Oba 1:4 Though you rise high as the eagle, and though you set your nest between the stars,
I will bring you down from there, declares Yahweh.
The folly of having the attitude of man being in charge of his own destiny
is referred to in Job 38:1
Job 38:1-6 1 Then Yahweh answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
2 Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?
3 Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.
4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
Job 38:21 Knowest thou it, because thou wast then born? or because the number of
thy days is great?
On the other hand some creationists try to attack evolutionists head on. The two lawyers in the
Scopes trial were reduced to verbal fisticuffs which if anything benefitted the evolutionists
prodded on by reporter HL Menkin's emotive words.

King Solomon said
Pro 26:4 Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.
The Apostle Paul said
Rom 12:17 Recompense to no man evil for evil.Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
Rom 12:18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
Creationists can’t convince anyone who doesn't want to be convinced that they are wrong.
Isaiah 28:15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at
agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us:
for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
The overflowing scourge refers to Yahushua's judgement.
John 14:6 Yahshua said to him, “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life.
No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
John 6:44 “No one is able to come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him, and
I will raise him up in the last day.”
Scriptural/ Spiritual things are spiritually discerned [ 1 Cor 2:14]
If the Father hasn't drawn a person, that is given him a portion of the Ruach Ha Qodesh,
then to one extent or another that person is decieved. Some accept Scripture to
a point, believing that which they choose to believe and rejecting that which they do not wish
to believe. No amount of arguement or clever talking will persuade him you may have a point.
Otherwise logical people are unable to see the TRUTH even when it is placed in front of them;
Why is that?
Rom 1:28 And even as they did not think fit to have Elohiym in their knowledge,
Elohiym gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do the things not right,
2Th 2:9 His coming is according to the working of Satan in all power and miraculous signs and
lying wonders, 2Th 2:10 and in all deceit of unrighteousness in those being lost,
because they did not receive the love of the truth in order for them to be saved.
2Th 2:11 And because of this, Elohiym will send to them a working of error,
for them to believe the lie,
Because they do not love Yahweh’s truth; Yahweh lets them believe lies; some
believe some lies and not others some believe all the lies including EVOLUTION.
So to convince others against their will, is not the option. Rather we have to speak
the TRUTH in love, no matter what reaction we get.
Mat 5:11 Blessed are you when they shall reproach you, and persecute you, and shall
say every evil word against you, lying, on account of Me.
Mat 7:12 Therefore, all things, whatever you desire that men should do to you, so
also you should do to them; for this is the Law and the Prophets.
1Pe 3:15 But set apart Yahweh Elohiym in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer
to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
But, even then you might not get a rational hearing. And so Yashuah says
Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them
that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
It took a long while to determine how is the world better investigated. One way is to just talk
about it (for example Aristotle, the Greek philosopher, stated that males and females have
different number of teeth, without bothering to check; he then provided long arguments as to why
this is the way things ought to be). This method is unreliable: arguments cannot determine
whether a statement is correct, this requires proofs.
A more reliable approach is to do experiments and perform careful observations. The results
of this approach are ‘universal ‘ in that they can be repeated and checked by anyone who
wishes to do.
It is from these ideas that the scientific method was developed.
Most of science is based on experiments and double-blind trials .
How does the “scientific method ” work?
Scientists say the scientific method is the best way yet discovered for winnowing the truth
from lies and delusion.
The simple version goes something like this:
1. Observe some aspect of the universe like -(The sun rises in the east).
2. Invent a tentative description, called a hypothesis, that is consistent with what
you have observed.
(The heavenly bodies have regular courses else there would be chaos).
3. Use the hypothesis to make predictions.(The sun will always rise in the east).
4. Test those predictions by experiments or further observations and modify
the hypothesis in the light of your results.( The sun always rises in the east but at
different times of day according to seasons).
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until there are no discrepancies between theory and experiment
and/or observation. (Space travel has shown us that it is the rotation of the earth, and the
fact that we are observing it from standing on the earth, that makes the sun appear to rise in
the east. The sun is fixed in space and the earth turns giving the appearance of the sun rising.)
When consistency is obtained the hypothesis becomes a theory and provides a coherent set of
propositions which explain a class of phenomena. A theory is then a framework within which
observations are explained and predictions are made.
(Sunset and sunrise tables can be made up in advance for airline travel etc).
WHY THEN ISN’T THE SCIENTIFIC METHOD APPLIED TO EVOLUTION?
Quotes:-

"My attempts to demonstrate evolution by an experiment carried on for more
than 40 years have completely failed."
(N.H.Nilson, famous botanist and evolutionist)
On page 171 of his book ‘The Origin Of Species’, Charles Darwin (1859)wrote,
"If it could be demonstrated that any complex organ existed, which could not
possibly have been formed by numerous, successive, slight modifications,
(which he calls natural selection) my theory would absolutely break down"
Then he (Darwin) states in the chapter called 'DIFFICULTIES' - with the theory,
"To suppose that the eye with all its inimitable contrivances for adjusting
the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light and
for the correction of spherical and chromatic aberration, could have been
formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the
highest degree."
(Charles Darwin, Origin of Species, chapter "Difficulties")
And he further states - in 'MY LIFE AND LETTERS'
"Not one change of species into another is on record ... we cannot prove that a single
species has been changed."
(Charles Darwin, My Life & Letters)
But have other scientists had more success
"No matter how numerous they may be, mutations (variation within a species), do not
produce any kind of evolution."
(Pierre-Paul Grasse, Evolutionist)
"The likelihood of the formation of life from inanimate matter is one to a number
with 40,000 noughts after it ... It is big enough to bury Darwin and the whole theory of
evolution ... if the beginnings of life were not random, they must therefore
have been the product of purposeful intelligence."
(Sir Fred Hoyle, astronomer, cosmologist and mathematician, Cambridge University)
"It is easy enough to make up stories, of how one form gave rise to another, and to
find reasons why the stages should be favoured by natural selection. But such stories
are not part of science, for there is no way of putting them to the test."
(Luther D Sutherland, Darwin's Enigma, Master Books 1988, p89)
"The fact that a theory so vague, so insufficiently verifiable, and so far from the criteria
otherwise applied in 'hard' science has become a dogma can only
be explained on sociological grounds."
(Ludwig von Bertalanffy, biologist)
"...An intelligible communication via radio signal from some distant galaxy would be widely
hailed as evidence of an intelligent source. Why then doesn't the message sequence on
the DNA molecule also constitute prima facie evidence for an intelligent source?
After all, DNA information is not just analogous to a message sequence such as Morse code,
it is such a message sequence."
A message sequence is its own language like a code only more complex.

“It is possible (and, given the Flood, probable) that materials which give radiocarbon
dates of tens of thousands of radiocarbon years could have true ages of
many fewer calendar years."
(Gerald Aardsman, Ph.D., physicist and C-14 dating specialist)
These quoted scientists are not all “ religious ” but they are people who see
flaws in the theory of evolution. There are many more than just those few
quoted here.
IN CONCLUSION.
Those of us who firmly believe in the TRUTH of CREATION have no hope
of convincing those unbelievers by citing scripture to them.
Also we are told that as far as it is possible to do so we should live
at peace with ALL people
Rom 12:17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight
of all men. Rom 12:18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you,
live peaceably with all men.
So there is little to be gained by Creationists arguing Scripturally with
Evolutionists who are still blinded to the TRUTH. So what can we say
to them in this case?
Quoting these scientists puts the ball back in the evolutionists own court, without the need to
force our beliefs on anyone. And if you ask the evolutionist to comment, any anger he might have
should be directed at these quoted scientists; because he is being forced to try to
justify his position, while notable people in his own ranks don't share his convictions.
Scientifically, by the standards of his own discipline, he is being made to look foolish.
1Ti 6:20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust,
avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called.
